Ooo. I used to have one of the brooms. It works great on area rugs or the shorter carpet, I would imagine on longer carpet, not so much. It does take a little effort, but you'll end up with a ball of hair at the end and a clean rug. Then of course your dog will sense a clean rug and promptly roll around on it and you'll have to do it all over again.

That's great because I was just looking at the orvis catalog and saw a similar slipcover but it was 130.00. I have a new couch in my office and the dogs hang out there and it has a comforter on it right now. HAHAH funny Rexx just got on the couch for his nap.

I might need those couch covers! We are currently using cheap, washable comforters, but the other day I found a bit wet spot on the back of the couch where Jack had been licking something. Ewww, gross. I really don't want my sofas to permanently smell of dog, and these will cover the arms and back as well (which mine currently do not).
