Odd question, but anybody give their corgi a mohawk during the summer? :)

So with SoCal's infamous 6 month summer coming up, we planned to give Wally a nice shaving. I want to make him look like a badass and give him a mohawk...but I have no idea what that would look like.

Anybody do this before? :)

I haven't. But if they do, please post pictures. I try to "google" it, and there is actually a member of MyCorgi that his corgi has a mohawk!!! it's under Norman Booger. It's cute.

HR you are right the coats of corgis are suppose to protect them from all that you mentioned. Corgis can get sunburned and will have to use sunscreen in the heat because they have no hair to protect them. : (

We could always leave the hair on and just give him a mohawk ;)

The 'hawk is more important than the shave.

You might think twice about shaving your corgi. The fur is double coat and should never be shaved. It may never grow back in right. Just something to keep in mind...
