I have a hint for anyone trying to find the dog park. It is very near, and across the street from the City Complex. As you drive into the park you will see some sports areas. the Dog Park is the fenced area to the right of the tennis court.

More specific directions....

- Come into Portsmouth via Route 1 North/Middle Street or Mapplewood Ave from the Route1 Bypass.
- Get on the One-Way throught Portssmouth which is Route 1 North/State Street
- Go to the 2nd Light and turn right onto Pleasant Street.
- On Pleasant street take the 2nd Right onto Junkins Ave (Street may not be signed - watch for signs to City Hall/ Police Department)
- On Junkins Ave, once past the Pond (South Mill Pound) take a right into the parking lot - The Dog park is at the far side of the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts.

If you get lost ask a local how to get to South Mill Pond, Leary Field, or the Tennis Courts

poo, I checked the distance and that's about a 4 hour drive from western CT. Oh well, another time.... have fun!

Susan, You should start a group in your area of Ct. Find a couple of corgi owners and get together. Pretty soon you will have a regular playgroup that you can schedule meetups with.

In the last week we have picked up three more people in our (local) Coastal Corgi group. Two of the three are hoping to attend in Portsmouth on the 23rd. The third has a pup that hasn't had all his shots yet, so won't make it this time. We don't usually cancel unless the weather is miserable. Nine chances out of ten there will be some one there. Look forward to seeing a large group of corgis. June
