We have a large waterbowl that both dogs and 3 cats share from. Our puppy, a 5 month old tri, had decided that it is fun to splash in the bowl with both front paws. Sure, it is funny, and fun to watch, but I don't appreciate cleaning up the mess, and the other animals probably don't like it.
Any ideas?

Corie is two this month and she still loves to play in the water bowl. If were at the ranch, she will find a biggest mud puddle and play in that, guess that is something that they are not going to outgrow :-)

My tri loves to run through puddles, loves crushed ice in a bowl, plays with water trickling from a hose, and wants to get in the bath when the water runs. She has on many occasions found it a lot of fun to dig in her water bowl. I've found that she does this if there is something in the bowl that she wants, like a kibble or grass. Once we give her clean water, the attraction to the bowl stops...until something else falls in. Maybe you should see if there is something in the bowl she is trying to get. Our first corgi hated the water.
