Hi, I've been reading over the comments and I'm sorry if this is redundant, but what exactly constitutes a sable? Is it red and white with a mixture of black, but not enough black to be a tri? My Heidi only has black on the end of her muzzle, but she was advertised as sable. Her coat IS lightening in the back (it's not as red as it was when she was younger), but she doesn't have any other black anywhere else.

Yes I believe that is correct. I think Tri's are predominatly black where as Sables have black scattered throughout their fur or certain parts of their fur. I heard that some puppies are born sable but do not necessarily stay sable. I'm sure that the experts here can give you their opinion on Heidi. By the way, what a cutie!!!!
Thanks! She's becoming more and more delightful by the day. I think I'm on my way to an obsession... :)
haha I think that everyone on this corgi website is obsessed!
