Great question!! I am not a big fan of dog parks myself just because you just never know, and I am a very cautious person. Alot of people go to dog parks and are fine, which is great. We have a dog in our neighborhood that Lance likes to play with...
our schnauzer that we had before Stella got into the bathroom trash and ate tampons. people that never even met Jeffery knew the tampon story. he had to have surgery. how do they know we just got our bonus?
yes, poopy buns got my attention. we are on the food merry go round right now too. trying to find one that gives Stella firm poop. we've already had to have her anal glands expressed once since we got her and hope we can find a fix.
on a side not...
we had to rearrange our backyard after she jumped from the ground, to a chair, to a table, to the deck railing and finally on top of our 6 foot high wooden fence and proceeded to chase a squirrel!
we bought a 40" vertical gate after she got over ...
Oh, so does Ethel! She is in heaven when being chased -- she reminds me of that one guy (Ian Charleson) in that old movie, Chariots of Fire (don't look now, my age is showing), who, when he's running a race, throws his head way back, and just look...
Izzy loves to find some one at the dog park to chase her! Sparty just ignores every body so that he can sniff and pee on every bush and weed. We don't go too often because the park here is not very big.
We went to the dog park today, and some really sweet dogs were there. Bertie singled out the 9 month old bearded collie and an elderly lab for his attentions. I told him to leave it and he did, reluctantly. The owners thought it was pretty funny, ...
Loki met a 3 yr old cardigan the other day (his first other corgi!) and after playing in their backyard some, eventually tried to hump him while he splatted (what i call the corgi laying with feet out) I would just remove him, neither the owner no...

About Me:
I've always had a dog in my life. We had a pembroke rescue when I was a kid. We always wondered where he came from because you just didn't see any corgis in rural NE Louisiana 30 years ago.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
We got Stella in May 2009. She's got a very good nature. Loves to play with other dogs and has even been respectful to our 3 legged 13 year old calico. Doesn't understand why the cat doesn't want to play though!
Stella gets complimented every time we go out. I think it's her big brown eyes. The rescue group thought spaniel/corgi, but we think long haired dachshund/corgi. She holds her toys with her paws and loves to sleep on the back of the couch.
She 15 pounds. From the pictures I saw on petfinder, I thought she was much bigger. Stella's about 2 feet long, w/out tail and 10 inches at the top of her shoulders. We think she's about 1 1/2 years old.
Look at those corgi britches! Her hair is more corgi textured than long haired dachshund. The only place it's silky is her ears. She looks like a mini golden retriever.
very squirrel focused! we had to rearrange our backyard after she jumped from the ground, to a chair, to a table, to the deck railing and finally on top of our 6 foot high wooden fence and proceeded to chase a squirrel!
