Everyone is welcome at The Nub Club! For those of you who have Corgi's with docked tails, please take a moment to admire your loyal friend's nub! Don't let our nature's low-riders have their nubs forgotten! Rejoice and join!
I'm a 24-year old working on my Master's thesis (my Master's is in social sciences) and trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life. Other than being a corgi mommy, which is clearly my higher calling. My (male) partner is working on a Master's in Environmental Management at Yale, so here we are. I love to read, craft, garden, play scrabble, and spend time with my corgi.
My partner Marshall and I got Rory in August 2007 from a shelter in Northeast Ohio. I had found him online and somehow I knew I needed to adopt him. Marshall had work, so I drove to Ohio from DC with my sister (Thanks Marg!) to get him. They estimated then that he was about 4 years old, so he's about 6 now. We've had some really rough patches in our life since we got him, and we don't know how we'd have done it without our angel dog. He loves to eat snow, herd big dogs (he loves Airedales and Great Danes), play tug-of war and keep-away, and snuggle. He likes the dark, so often we'll see one or two paws sticking out from under a couch where he is sleeping. He has also recently discovered corgi soccer. I don't think I've ever seen him so happy.

Welcome Cecilia, Marshall and Rory!
Corgi soccer? It sounds like fun! (somehow I picture a group of corgis in matching striped t-shirts !)
How awesome that you drove all that way to get him! I drove an hour and a half to get Sidney and I thought THAT was far :-)
