Hi Archie and Jen! Congratulations on the fluffy in your life! We are really the best of the best! It took almost 18 months for my coat to be established. Nanmom paid for my first real shaping at two years. I am fluffy allllll over! Lots of people...

Hello everyone. This is Archie and he is a fluffy and sable - the breeder said he was a fluffy puppy and he is certainly has lots of fur compared to other corgis. He's only 14 weeks so we don't know how fluffy he will become. Can anyone tell me ho...

Linus here. It's been mighty hot and sticky here in Virginia. Mom broke down and gave me a bath this past weekend which is lots of work because it also means the hairdryer and furminator. Part of my beauty regime is getting my teeth brushed with s...

Profile Information

Hometown:
Loxahatchee, Florida
About Me:
Old enough to know better. My wife and I built a smaller house because our 2 kids had grown up and left the nest. Well we moved into the smaller house (with an attached mother in laws house) and soon after we got custody of 2 nieces and my son moved in with grandson. It is too small a house.
About My Corgi(s):
Four PWC "Fluffies" Da Power of Da Fluff
Tessie-Tri-Aug 2004
Zack-Tri-May 2005
Brandy-R&W-Nov 2005
Bailey-R&W-May 2008
Tessie was a gift from some friends who have her older sister. We got Zack from a friend of Tessie's breeder to keep Tessie company. Brandy is Tessie's niece. Brandy is a big corgi who likes to lay on your pillows in the morning giving you a corgi hat. Zack is my buddy who we almost lost the first week we got him to puemonia. He had TPLO surgery (knee) the first week in August of 2007 and had his other knee done in November of 2007. He is my bionic fluff. Tessie is the "Mom" and she is the Alpha. That leaves Brandy who is a wanna be Alpha. She does not bother Tessie at all but bosses poor Zack. Bailey joined our group at the NC Corgi Picnic and has moved right in. He is quite the talker. I think Bailey (when he grows up) will not be bossed around by Brandy

Hi Bill! Yes! I have already circled the 10th of October on my calendar and told Chef that I'll be taking it as a leave day! It was such a special day last year and we are all anticipating another fabulous event! We had a great morning at herding lessons today and I hope to title Bear this fall. Boy, they can really drive some sheep! Take care and we will look forward to seeing you soon! Nancy, Bear, Tasha and Linus

hi bill, thanks for the suggestion i did check out the rescue dogs but many needed single dog families, and i have two other dogs. my new puppy is just amazing, and has already become fast friends with my jack russell. she is also the only one who will actually jump in our pond and swim around just for fun. thanks again!

thanks for your information on the calender i must try and get one and i agree with shaving a fluffies stomach last weekend we had 43 degree temps and the best way for george to keep coll was to lay flat out on his tummy on the bathroom tiles i would never shave the top because an aussie summer woul burn his skin so easily
