About Me:
I have been working in veterinary medicine since 1997, first as a veterinary technician after graduating college and now as the Practice Manager. I've always loved animals and have been a long time Corgi enthusiast.

I am married to a wonderful man named John and our "kids" include a Siamese Cat named Ana Ng, an Orange Tabby named Harrison, a Chow Mix named Brynner and, of course, a PWC named Ashton.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Born November 17, 2008 Ashton is my red and white male Pembroke who loves water. Currently his favorite pastime is swimming in the lake or his little pool and "attacking" the water from the sprinklers. Ah, the smell of wet Corgi...

Ashton loves ice cubes, playing fetch and herding Harrison around the house. Luckily Harrison is an easy going cat and actually enjoys being chased about. Of course having a slobbed on cat wanting attention is kind of icky. lol

Currently Ashton has graduated his obedience class and is preparing to enter into the exciting world of Rally Obedience. He is still Mr. Popularity at the vet clinic and finds no shortage of love from my co-workers and clients. He loves a good road trip and has traveled throughout Washington, Oregon and California.

iSpy with my eye Corgis!

A while back I started a new group called iSpy: Corgis! I haven't done any recruiting yet so I thought I better start. This group is for those of us who find great joy in finding corgis used in things such as advertisements, movies and games. I see members posting their finds in their personal blogs (like I have) or misc. forum post but here in the iSpy: Corgis! Group we can keep them all together, like a giant corgi catalog! I am sure I am not the only one who gets a bit giddy when out shopping… Continue

Swollen Corgi Muzzle

So the other night we were watching TV when we hear Ashton let out a little yelp. He was under the coffee table and came scampering out and up on the couch. He had his Nylabone with him and I thought he might have bitten down on it in a funny way and hurt himself. I give him my usual once over and he seemed fine and wasn't upset so I let it go. A few minutes later I look down and see this:

More corgis in advertising.

One day at the vet clinic I work at I noticed a bag of Science Diet had a corgi on it.

Which then made me wonder what other corgis I could find around the office. That quest lead me to:

Thank you so much for the link! I just might be in luck! I found a breeder about an hour away, that will have pups in about 6 months. Sad to say, my cat Cody is about to pass away. I want to wait so I don't cause him any stress. He developed tumors from being vaccinated!!! He went in for surgery twice, and now they say there is not much I can do, but keep him comfortable and let him go when it is time . :( I feel that finding someone who will have pups in 6 mos is a blessing. I miss my babies so much, but I know for Cody that bringing a pup home, won't be a good idea! Thanks so much for thinking of me!

That would be great! Yeah it's been a while since I've been to Othello. My dad still lives there so we try to go a few times a year. We'd love to get together sometime!

wow, my family is in San Diego too. I go down to Anza Borrego every chance I get. Kahuna and I go for runs at the ocean beach. He's not so fond of the waves but he loves to run on the wet sand.
