She's so pretty - and dainty with those pupcakes! I like the one where she's got both halves and just peeks behind her. Very cute. Happy Birthday Hannah!!

She's sweet - I would take her in a second but she's too far away :( Best of luck to you in finding her a new home.

We got Algy very much the same way! My mom wanted a corgi, but we really didn't know much about them and didn't really do any research. We just saw an ad, went for a drive, and Algy was home with us after one week! At the time, we had a dog that m...

I am. I may be in for stay and I was wondering if I could get a corgi to come and see me. Since Algy can't, it would mean the world to me. I will check out this site and looks for others. Thank you! I don't know much about these organizations, so...

Well, if you hum a few bars, I'll see if my dog knows the tune.... What, not those kinds of requests? LOL Sorry. If you mean "can you ask therapy dogs to come to a specific facility," then perhaps, depending on the organization. http://www.tdi-...

About My Corgi(s):
My corgi's name is Algy. He is a 10 year old male born in December 1998. He is my first corgi and I couldn't have gotten a happier, better boy! He is cute and demanding, and always eager to please! He likes to play ball and to share popsicles. He was also diagnosed with Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia about 3 years ago, but we found the problem in time and after a few bumps, he responded to the therapy - thanks to a wonderful vet. I hope Algy will be with us for a long while yet and that we can meet a lot of new friends who are as crazy about corgis as we are!

Cancer

I am very scared for Algy. This summer he had a tumor on his spleen that ruptured and caused major and massive interal bleeding. He had emergency surgery to have his spleen removed and when the tissue was out they found that he had low grade lymphoma. The vet was sure that they got all of the infected tissue and that his recovery would be fine. Well, he is still doing well and his bloodwork is OK, although he is showing some signs of mild anemia. The problem is that his lymph nodes are swollen a… Continue

Hi Joanna & Algy
the long-haired one is my fist Corgi-cross - he was a gift from my first husband - the nicest thing he ever gave me....... Foofit (Scampy) was with me for over 15 years........ I was heartbroken when he was overcome by cancer.
It took about 2 years to find another tri-colour adult Corgi (Mimmo) to adopt.
And just 6 months before Foofit went, I lost my Border Collie, Patch - he was also with me for about 15 years...

Thank you so much Joanna & Algy
Mimmo arrived in my white '72 Beetle (I have several old cars) - and ever since then that is HER car - she loves all cars though, except my partner's Volvo 144 because it is too noisy with its broken exhaust...! one of my mechanics also has a white Beetle, and Mimms can'r understand why she shoudln't be alloed in that too -

Thank you so much for the sweet comments on Juno. It is hard to resist her, because she is such a ham! Especially during training; I will ask her to do a trick and she will lay down on her side next to me, and give me a cursory look. It's too cute and she usually gets a stinkin' treat for it, I'm such a sucker - haha. I love, love, love Algy's cookie face. I don't think I'd be able to resist that either! It's almost an Elvis lip he gives you. I think he's easily one of the happiest corgis I've ever seen, his grin is so big! He such a handsome boy and his coat is beautiful! I bet he is one the best snuggle buddies ever!

Thank you so much, I am extremely excited about getting my actual first pet, and ecstatic that is a corgi. I feel in love with one 8 years ago at pet store and have been wanting one ever since.
