Sorry for your loss. I have to say most of us have had times when it seems like everything goes off kilter but the good news is it does change. The only thing to do is to try to appreciate the little things!

Well no news isn't always good news

I am sorry I haven't posted in quite a while. There has been a lot going on and not much has been good. The worst of the news is my boyfriends father has past away. We decided to wait on bring puppy home. I have come to the place where i am beginning to wonder when as my father puts it "we will get off the wrong side of the monopoly board" i know that life goes through cycles but this cycle needs to end soon. well I should probably run, I will check in as soon as I can

My pembroke has been born!

I just got off the phone with my breeder's son. The litter was born two nights ago and there is two red and white boys and one tri. I have pictures of the red and whites on my cell. now i have to figure how to get them on the computer. I sent the deposit today. The gall will call me when she gets off work tonight. i am so excited i can barley sit still. I am going to The HumDog pet show!!!!

I am so excited, not only am I going to get to see all kinds of dogs but there will be Pembrokes and Cardigans! So I should know very soon about whether or not I will get my puppy this spring. The other fantastic thing is I have convinced my Boyfriend to go with my so he will get to meet both types pf Corgis! (Happy dance inserted here!) When I get a chance after I go i will definately be sure to let you guys know how cool it was! CHEERS!

The Garfield and Odie syndrome

I am not the only one who is getting anxous for our corgi. Our German Shepard Rusty is starting to suffer from an only dog syndrome.
He has grown up with two other dogs. Now that it is just my boyfriend, myself, and my cat he is having a hard time adjusting. Although the days we are both at work we take him to visit his old pack while we are gone. There is a total of four days (because my BF and I work different shifts) that he is home with one of us. Once we saw that Max (GS) was excited and happy with no aggression, we put them in the same yard. Yoshi was two months old. I think Max just knew he was a puppy and he did very well. I think the sooner you can put them together, it will be much better. We also knew Max didnt do well with females. We learned from a traniner that females seem to be a little more dominated. Max just didnt like it. :) So we knew we had to get another male.

I know our German Shepherd was a little distrubed at first but now theyre bestest of buddies! We still keep them away from each other when it's time to eat. German Shepherd is still very protective of his food and other belonging. Our Corgi had no problem. It's been about a month and it just keeps getting better. :) Enjoy!!!! It is a BEAUTIFUL combination! :) Let me know how it works out!
