That is fantastic! Pixie doesn't like files or clippers too much when my husband or I have them. However, she's fine with the groomers or vet. I have no idea why. Teaching her to file her own nails would save lots of money and time. Thanks for pos...
lol..momo's been there and done that, he hasn't destroyed a lot of furniture, but he likes to chew on smaller items like wires, clothing pegs, socks and blankets. I really hope after his finished teething the chewing rampage will stop. Have you tried buying milk flavoured chewy bones for pixie? they should help occupy her time.
we try to keep momo in the crate as well at night,to avoid him from destructing any furniture! Sometimes he's little sulky and whins a while before sleeping because he wants to sleep with us.
lol, has pixie finished with teething? momo's at the final stage, just got a bit more growing to do with his molars. We asked the vet how much more he's going to grow and she said that judging from his teething rate he should be be no larger than 10kgs, which is about 22lbs. So he's still going to be on the small side for a male. I think pixie is going to be on the small side of females.
but only time will tell!
Hi Melissa, yeap , we do get a bit concerned about Momo's barking because others might "Complain" especially in the middle of the night! but luckily he doesn't bark a lot. It's only occasionally that he does do it. We take him to a smaller room and calm him down my patting him on the head and telling him "no" and that he's a "good boy" usually he calms down a lot .
btw Momo's only 2 weeks older than Pixie, he was born on sept the 4th 2008 ;)
Shirley Chong made some great instructions to get started having your dogs file their own nails. I used this as a reference.

Bernie gets bored doing lots of repetitions so I have to really mix up her training too. I learned that early on. That means our doggies are super smart! :)
