I get a lot of comments about the pictures with Eddie and his baby kitty. We adopted Mongo near death from my husband's vet clinic. We took him home and nursed him back to health slowly. Eddie was only 8 or 9 months, before we got Ollie, and extremely interested in the little guy. We told Eddie it was his kitty, and with a lot of "easy" and "calm" commands, they got pretty close. This, of course, lasted til Mongo grew big and healthy and became just another annoying cat in the house to Eddie. But for that first few months, Eddie cuddled and loved his little Kitty Mongo like a little brother. I love those pictures, they were not posed or forced to sit there, my husband just managed to catch one of these sweet "cuddle times" while they lasted!
