About My Corgi(s):: My name is Chloe. Im a red and white corgi. I was born on September 21,2007. I love playing, sleeping, and eating... but I think eating is my favorite :). My favorite game is fetch and laser! I am a people dog and enjoy love nipping people fingers when they come in the door. I play hard, eat hard, sleep hard.

Medication, Kennels, Airplanes, so much to do!

Leaving Friday December 19 for Florida with Chloe and have lots of questions! Should I medicate her? When she went to the SPCA walk with our family and friends, she went into shy mode and would not even let the humans pet her! She backed and hid behind us. Since the airport/airplane will be much more crowded, do we necessarily need the medication? Our relatives do not recommend it since it knocks their dog out all day. Happy Birthday!!

Today is Chloe's 1st birthday! We gave her some extra treats, toys, and some extra yogurt in her food. She is such a great dog! We have had so many great times together. I cant believe how fast those 10 months went with her.

Petsmart trip

I just went to Petsmart with Chloe and we had a fun time! I saw another corgi but the owner told me that he is not nice, so we walked away from them. Next year, Chloe will be home alone all day so we got her kong stuffn peanut butter and Old Mother Hubbard treats (from Cindi's recc. on a post. Thanks! She loved them). We will put peanut butter then crushed treats and peanut butter and some more treats. We will do that till it fills. Then we freeze it overnight till it is nice and hard for Chloe… Continue

I will be getting another male and they are different pups. The female comes from Riley's family tree but the male is a young stud. The breeder stops breeding them once they turn 4 years old. Tucker the father is a tri-color corgi and jesse the mother looks like Riley. The pups have some darker colors on them that make them different. That's what I wanted because I feel like getting a corgi that looks just like Riley would be too hard. Talk to you soon:)

I have put a deposit on a pup but may change my mind once I actually go there to pick him up. She has lots of puppies to choose from. Four mothers had litters almost at the same time. I am excited! I recently bought some toys as well but I feel it is too early for dog food yet. I feed my cats science diet but have heard it isn't that good, what food do you recommend?
