Hi again Tracy,

I'm bad about replying sometimes...which I'm sure you can see since you wrote me in July and I'm just getting back to you. I'd love to get the pups together for a walk. Do you ever go to Borderland in Easton? We'll be a bit busy this weekend, but next Sunday might be good for us. Just let me know!

Hi Tracy and Toby!

I'm Tori, also from Brockton; I found you while browsing through the site and am happy to hear that there's another MyCorgi in town! I'm a part of the Boston Corgi group (http://www.mycorgi.com/group/bostoncorgis) and there's been chatter about a meet-up on the Commons next weekend. We should take the commuter rail in with our pups! I'm sure our little girls would be quite a sight on the train :). Anyway, if next weekend isn't good, I'd love to plan a meetup at Borderland or D.W. Fields sometime. Let me know!

HEHE- She is just like Toby. She got her haircut a couple of times and the gave her a buzzz all over. She loved it, but the funny thing is that it grows back in different color stages. They have a double or triple layer to their coats. So In the beginning she was really white and then had a black stripe down her spine. As the hair grew back out it became blond all over and then started turning back her her normal color. She was a trip! Their fur is interesting when they get the buzz cut. Its like a stuffed animal. Toby is CUTE! A face just like Molly's!

Scooter has allergies too. What is Toby allergy to? Scooter is allergy to eggs and beef. I bake all her treats and read every label of anything she eats. Sometimes it is a pain by well worth it. She is great as long as I watch what she eats!
Tody is lucky you bought her and love her. I feel most pet shop buy their puppies from puppy mills. No true breeder would sell their puppies to a pet shop! So it's a good chance Toby had a hard life from the start until you took her into your life and heart. Did you see the video on Mycorgi.com opening page on puppy mill in Washington? Bad!!! I hate puppy mill owners and feel so sorry for their dogs. They are into it for the money, that's all. They could care less about the animals. It'a all about the money~~ Enough of that!
We are into Off-Road Racing and go to a race at least every other month. Scooter is Best in the Desert scoring van's mascot! Both my sons have rigs they use in recovery. Onedrives a 46 Willys and the other drives a 66 Bronco. Both have been built for crawling. We have fun!
Good luck with little Toby. She is sure cute!

codie definitely is full of energy, its funny how his favorite toy's the only one we didn't buy him. my parent's live in rhode island, which i think is pretty close to brockton, we'll have to set up some play dates. codie's only friends right now are kitties

It is a full time job with this many corgis but I love every min of it. I have hard wood floors so it is a little easier to clean up the hair but it still gets everywhere...lol. My Kaylee was the runt of her litter and she is a year old and only weighs about 16 lbs. I fell in love with the breed 3 years ago and now I have my herd of six and it will stay that way unless I get a bigger yard... lol.

I have only bought my cogis from breeders and keep two form my own litters but I hear that pet store puppies almost always have lots of trouble later in life because of the way the store owners treat the puppies. All they are worried about is getting as much money for the pups so they don't take them to vet like they should and the puppies don't live in good places while with the store owner. I am sorry your toby has had so many vet visits and I hope everything turns out good for you. She looks very pretty. I have six Pembrokes myself and I just love this breed...lol

yeah I wasn't gonna say anything about getting a pet store pup, but she is so cute and looks so much like my toby. It's sad the way pet store dogs are. I was walking through one this weekend. Those dogs look so sick and they had Chihuahua-Dachshund mixes there selling for $600. I'm so glad to hear she's overcome her illnesses. It sounds like Toby has a great mom
