Yes we have to! Turned out we were sitting next to a family that owned Lexi, another Sept 09 corgi from Celeste! It was so much fun to see all of Stanley's half-siblings. It was a big corgi family reunion.

No matter how many pictures I take, I always wish I had more. Corgis are just so photogenic! Stanley had so much fun. Now he's passed out and probably dreaming about all the fun he had today.

We had so much fun. It was great to get lots of corgi kisses and watch Stanley have so much fun wrestling and running and receiving lots of free treats. He had a howling good time, literally!

About Me:: We are first time dog owners trying to navigate our ways through the ups and downs of puppy ownership. So far, I think we're doing pretty good.

About My Corgi(s):: Our lil pup was born on 9/14/08. His name is Stanley and we brought him home in early November '08.

Stanley is part of the growing family on mycorgi.com consisting of pups that came from Celestial Star Kennel. His parents are Brittney and Kobe. Check it out:

Stanley's extremely outgoing, playful and brave. He's not scared of anything except for those evil stairs to our 2nd floor apartment. He loves chewing on his bully stick and occasionally daddy's shoes. His favorite activities include going to obedience classes and sleeping on the tile floor and playing fetch. He passed his Canine Good Citizen this summer.

Stanley takes most after Daddy in that they both share an extreme fear of heights, have sensitive allergies and embarrassing gassiness, and they both leave their toys all over the place.

He gets his cuteness from Mommy.

His favorite hobbies include eating, sleeping, frapping, running through tall grass, digging, chewing everything, and sniffing under cars. He loves playing in the water, though he prefers to bounce through the water instead of swimming.

Stanley's Birthday Party

Today is officially Stanley's 1st birthday. But yesterday he's celebrated big time at his birthday party! For all of those that made it to the party, a big THANK YOU for making the day so special. I hope your dogs were as pooped as Stanley was after all the fun. I'm going to definitely post more pics soon so stay tuned :)

At 5:43pm on November 3, 2009, Crystal and Dixie said…: We got to the snow day early and left when they told us since we did not belong to the facility we had to put Dixie on a leash. Dixie had a great time and I am now thinking about planning a snow vacation. However I was very disapointed since we had no idea until we got there she would have to be on leash, very disapointing! Don't think I will be back there, we did not feel very welcome.
Looks like Stanley had a good time both in the snow and the water, I think he is part duck! Have a great week!

I had a little accident and had to have knee surgery on the 21st of last month and have just been being a big baby. At least that is what Tammey says. Any way, I am starting to get out and about alittle now and should be back on the road in a week or two. Bear and I went out this morning and tried to do a Where's Bear shoot. I was not very happy with the shots but I may be able to clean one or two of them up enough to make them work. I am going to try. Oddly enough, I can't set for very long. My leg goes numb after just a short time and my knee starts to throb and I have to get up and move around. Any way thanks again for asking and watch for the next "Where's Bear" probably post it tonight. Give Stanley a good ol pat on the head for us. By
