Just curious...did you ever find out how she broke her nail? Was it from clipping it? I am new to clipping nails and very cautious. I find Buttercups nails sort of come off a tiny bit on the outside, so I file them with human nail file after. As you know, he had a limp earlier this week and one of the 1st things the vet asked me on the phone was whether he had a broken nail. I checked and they were all ok. Thankfully his limp only lasted about 28 hours...he is playing like crazy now. I can't believe the price to fix it...another question...how do they fix it? Also, have you looked into pet insurance. I'm inquiring of other members. Hope everything healed well. Joy
