About Me:: We are proud owners of a beautiful Corgi. John does work for an oil company and I am currently going back to school to become a registered nurse.

About My Corgi(s):: Amazing Grace (Maizy) was born April 1, 2008 (April Fools Day). She played a trick on John and I, we thought we were getting a sweet, little timid dog, since the first time we saw her she cried, and her mannerisms were typical little girly-girl. Her fur was so soft; you just loved to hold her.

The trick was surely on us (ha-ha). Maizy, little ray of sunshine is a terror on paws! She is demanding, needs attention all of the time, wants to be scratched, scratched, scratched. Lol. She and I have an understanding, she graces me with her presence by sitting in my lap, and I am to scratch her back, especially the back bottom! She does this soft "woof" that must have gone down deep into my psyche which triggers my scratch response. "Woof" scratch "Woof" scratch, we do this often during the day.

I am to also leave appendages (feet, hands) hanging over the couch, so that little Ms. Sunshine, can rub up and down too.

I love that little dog for her personality, tenacity, and sweetness. But well, you know, she is Amazing.

I haven't seen Duke around other Corgis so that would be fun to take pics of the pups playing. and Daisy, even though she isn't a Corgi would have a blast chasing the dogs, she is such a tomboy.
