Hometown:: Pittsburg

About Me:: I'm a 24 year old college student studying History. Hiking, camping and hanging out with the dogs are some of my favorite past times so I figured a corgi would be a great addition to my family. Currently there are two siberian huskies in my house, Marty and Max, both males who are owned by my parents. I have had dogs all my life but this will be the first one that is trained by me.

About My Corgi(s):: I will be getting a tricolor male Pembroke at the end of August 2008!

Yeah! My puppy, Benny, has finally made it home. So far he is adjusting nicely and doesn't seem afraid of everything. Exploration I think is his middle name and my two huskies are ignoring his existence for the most part. The little guy is so much cuter then I thought! Everyone who sees him is instantly in love including his new vets. I just added some pictures of him I took on the 11th the first day he was home.

Puppy Comming Home!

Yeah! Finaly the day is near! I talked to the breeder today and I will be able to pick my pup up on August 11th, the day I get back from my buddies wedding. I'm so glad that he is almost ready to come home!

Week 3 Photo!

Waiting

Wow! I can not believe how hard it is waiting for my puppy to be old enough to come home! It has only been a week so he is now 3 weeks of age and I still have at least 5-7 weeks left :( Waiting is exciting though. Kim from Poso Creek in Bakersfield, CA has been kind enough to keep me updated with weekly photos of my buddy so I can see how he grows up. There is so much to learn about corgis and training dogs that I am glad that I have so much time to read up on everything. Clicker training work… Continue

In June I tried having them patch things up but it only took 2 minutes before they were fighting to the death. :( I got bit when I broke them up. I was lucky it could have been worse. They are perfect dogs individually.
