Hello from Kerby and Lucy!

Profile Information

Hometown:: Batavia, IL

About Me:: I live and work at a residental high school so Lucy is currently living at my parent's house but we frequent the local bark park as much as possible!

When I'm not hanging around with high schoolers I try and enjoy the great outdoors or a good book.

About My Corgi(s):: Lucy (November 2007) is a rascal. She can go for long walks through the neighborhood without a leash on and stay right at my heel, on other days she takes off to play with our neighbor's dog when she is supposed to being going potty. Swimming is her absolute favorite thing to do besides play chase with bigger dogs. Right now she is my mother's best friend and keeps her company on bad days. She also enjoys playing 'take the bone away' with our other dog and barking at animals on tv.

Lucy and I have been members of our local Bark Park since it opened last spring. It has been almost 3 months since we have run into another dog. Every time we go there is no one in sight. I can't figure out if we are going at the wrong times or if dog parks are only busy when it's nice out? It's kind of sad. Lucy and I will jog the perimeter but the drive out there just isn't worth it anymore. The Corgi in the Window

Our local Petland has had the cutest corgi puppy for almost a month now. My family has named him Oliver and we visit him at least once a week. I feel so bad for him because he is getting bigger and bigger but his cage is not. Everytime my sister or I are in there we carry him around and answer the questions of the people in there because people in this area have no idea what a corgi is.
