The "Good One" has had a really bad day...

Our beloved Kai has had a very bad day - he's been diagnosed with weight-bearing lameness, an arthritic stifle, possible ivdd, and he's only 5 yrs old. but i think the worst part was being away from his girlfriend, Luna. Kai is very stoic - it is extremely difficult to tell when he is in pain - i'll tell more of that, the only way I knew to take him in today, was he literally fell over during a run, and off we went. Yes, I figured that people would of course vouch for their breed, but I was hoping to see why they picked one breed over the other, or maybe hear from someone that owns both and doesn't have a biased opinion :)
I personally think both corgis are beautiful and are great dogs, and if I could I'd get one of each, but I have to start with one for now.
