Ella will also do this, but not as fast as the video above. She will have her paws all spread out, lay on her back, and then slowly move then around. Just like if she were walking or swimming. So silly, but so Cute!!!

Sparty does it too and throws in back leg kicks too with woofs for sound effects. Must be a corgi thing none of my other dogs have ever done it. I think it is designed to get attention. Corgis always want to be the center of attention!

Do other Corgis lay on their backs and wave? What does this mean? Jack does this all the time. I figured he's trying to grab something, like his toy or my hand, but sometimes, he just does it at random. Is this just a Corgi thing?

AKC Name

Hello all! :D

Mister Jack and I had a blast at the dog show here in Houston yesterday. We paid a visit to the AKC booth, and inquired about printing a pedigree for Jack. Unfortunately, we have no papers on him! The breeder never sent them to us. We've tried to contact her, but always an answering machine picked up. I'm going to keep trying though. :3

Jack has a lump on his belly

I just noticed a penny sized lump on the right side of Jack's stomach. It's under the skin, and it seems like it hurts him when it's touched.

We're going to take him to the vet hopefully tomorrow and let them look at it.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? My grandmother has jumped to conclusions already and is afraid it could be cancer. I just would like to put her at ease.

Shave or Clip?

Jack is shedding his Winter coat, and there's little tiny tuffs everywhere! There's enough to make another dog..

I was wondering where I should take him to get clipped. Or if I should shave him?

What do you guys think?

Tribute To Mr Jack

On my birthday I wanted to do something I would remember. Since I don't have kids, I decided Jack's name would be perfect. :) Besides, Jack is my child, and I always want him to be with me. <3
