About Me:: I moved to South Florida in the fall of 2005. I manage an embroidery and silk screening company. I bought my first home in September 2008, and got my first Corgi in November 2008. My family is still up in Chicago. I would love to find other Corgi owners in my area, and keep Nutmeg socialized. Perhaps hook her up with a cute little guy...lol!

About My Corgi(s):: Nutmeg was born 9/14/08. I found her online through http://celestialstarkennel.com/pages/Home.

I picked her up at the Corgi picnic where I was able to see a whole bunch of Corgi's at many stages of life. It was the best way to see the breed, and learn as much as I could in one afternoon. I was shocked at the way everyone (humans included) got along. Nutmeg was just a pup at 8 weeks, so she couldn't play...but next year! Watch Out! Nuts loves her toys and her blankets. She is a cuddler BIG TIME.

Anyone have one of these for going on bike rides? I'd love to ride and be able to take Nutmeg, but not running along side. I've seen them for children, but wondered what the difference would be for a dog? Advise? Thanks!

What can my dog chew on?

I am at my wits end with Nutmeg. She is a ferocious chewer. I gave her one of these...http://www.nylabone.com/products/non-edible/flexible-chews/chicken-flavor-bone68648.htm.

She chewed on it for about 2 days until I saw chunks of it in her area. She is confined to my kitchen when I'm not home. I thought...ok, so she chewed a few chunks off. I took it away.
