About My Corgi(s):: Chesney is our first Pembroke she was born Nov. 3, 2008. She is the cutest and funniest puppy in the world!! (I'm sure we all say that about our babies though huh..lol) She thinks she is the Princess and, well, she is. We are hoping to get another corgi someday soon so that she has a playmate.

It's Chesneys birthday!!

Chesney is one years old today! Wooo hoooo! She's going to the groomer to have a spa day and then she gets to wander the store and pick out a few toys and treats.
I can't believe how fast this year has gone! She's gotten so big!

We talked to the woman who was giving him up for about 4 days saying we would take him and drive all the way there to pick him up. We even talked to her husband because she wasn't sure about us. Then they decided together that we were a good match and decided on a day for us to drive the 6 hours to go pick him up. The day arrived and after arranging for a babysitter for our corgis so the dogs could meet in a neutral area we got a very sad email about how she found a home for him somewhere else. It was like an emotional roller coaster so I think the next corgi we get will be from a breeder so we don't get our hearts broke again.

I'm not sure how long it's been since you've been in Othello but it's really starting to grow much like ML is. It's weird to see all the farm land turning into retail stores and houses. We have family in Portland and travel a lot so hopefully one of these road trips we can meet up for the corgis to have a good frap! <3
