DID DEXTER TURN RED? MY CROSBY'S HAIR HAS FALLED OUT AT THE BASE AND THE HAIR THERE NOW IS RED, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS BLACK.

About Me:: I am an RN in Tulsa, OK. I have two beautiful boys Koty and Chase. I have been married for 15 years to the love of my life, Paul. My favorite pastime is hanging out at the lake. My best friend is my stunning Blue Heeler, Cooper, he brings me joy everyday. I am new to Corgi's and I brought home a precious "black-headed tri" boy on April 17, 2009. I have been researching and looking for the perfect pup for a year now. I am not new to herding breeds. We spend lots of time at the farm though at home we have only one acre. We love the lake and my first priority will be to find my new friend a stubby little life jacket so that he can enjoy the boat with the rest of the gang. We have spent a great deal of time in Obedience classes with Coop and plan to continue the tradition with our new little man.

Puppy Class

Starting puppy class on Monday!

Puppy class is going very well. Crosby stands at attention very well, sits, walks fairly well on leash, and comes when called even out of playgroup. I am struggling with the down command though. How do you get a dog that is so low to the ground to lie down?

TRAINING GOING WELL!

CROSBY IS A GENIUS! I WOULD SAY POTTY TRAINED (8 WEEKS OLD) AND BARKS AT THE DOOR TO GO OUT, WILL SIT BOTH ON COMMAND AND BY HAND GESTURE, AND COMES WHEN CALLED. I AM AMAZED. OF COURSE, I HAVE WORKED WITH HIM ALOT, BUT HE IS DOING SO WELL!

It's Time!

In less than 24 hours my little Crosby is coming home....Lets see...Crate/Check, Puppy Food/Check, Puppy Chew Toys/Check, Appointment with Vet/Check, Paper Towels and Carpet Spot Remover/Check, Collar and Leash/Check, Bundles of Love and Patience/Check, Waking up in the middle of the night......are you ever really ready for this one?

At 9:17am on June 2, 2009, Cooper-n-Crosby said…: 13 lbs today! I was sitting upstairs and was so surprised to see Crosby rounding the top of the stairs. It was his first time to even attempt them and he went all the way to the top! Puppy class is going pretty well. Mr. Crosby has that "I'll be the boss of me attitude."
