About Me:: My name is Sarah and I have my first corgi puppy, Sadie!! I also have a 10 year old Rat Terrier dog, Gizmo, who is learning to become friends with Sadie.

About My Corgi(s):: I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi born January 20, 2009 named SADiE!! I got Sadie April 3rd and we graduated puppy training classes and have signed up for intermediate classes this fall. She loves chewing on her bones and toys, is extremely energetic, loves running around, playing with her tiger, and chasing me around the lawn. I also believe she has an allergy to corn!

So I recently switched Sadie over to Wellness Puppy after feeding her Blue Buffalo for a while. I loved Blue Buffalo and what it did for her coat, but unfortunetly she stopped eating it! She would only eat it if I were to mix it with something, so I am trying something different. So far she seems to like Wellness and is eating it the majority of the time, she is one picky little girl! Although, I haven't noticed any big changes in her coat, which I am hoping stays the same because it is so nice… Continue

Update

Sadie went to the vet on May 1st, at 14 weeks, and was 8lbs!! So she gained 2lbs in 3 weeks. While at the vet we noticed she had roundworms, but is off her medication now and goes back to get new test results next week. Hopefully they are all gone!! She received he fourth set of puppy shots, but since they were all given early to her, she will be given her additional puppy shot when we go for the check up.

Blue Buffalo

I would like to thank everyone who told me to try and get BB. I got it for Sadie on monday and already on friday I have noticed a difference. Her coat looks so shiny and great! She also loves the food, and even eats the blue pieces inside the puppy food. I have finally found the right food for her, since I do think she was allergic to some of the ingrediants in the other dog foods. Thanks to everyone who helped us lean toward to BB.

Soffie & Griffyn eat Wellness. We switch off between Wellness Core Reduced Fat and Simple5mix weight control. They both love it and have never had a problem switching between them. Guess we've been lucky that way.

I feed Cooper Wellness. He loves it! I like it mostly because if you look at the ingredients they are all things I would eat (not implying that I eat dog food). Haha. But I trust their food very much

I feed wellness and switched the new puppy to wellness as soon as I could. I think that blue buffalo is a great food but for some reason it gave the puppy some wicked farts. Blargh.

Ever since we got Sadie she has been a "licker!!" She doesn't really go for the toes, but she goes for anything she can touch, nothing specific. It can be our hands, arms, legs, ears, face, anything she can reach at the time!
