About Me:
I'm a nurses aid and nursing student and a new Corgi owner, but I've always loved them! Joel and I bought a house last fall in Lansing's "old town". We share it with our two cats, Kabuki & Mazzy & brought our beautiful Bonnie home on the first of February '09!

No
About My Corgi(s):
Bonnie is a black tri-color puppy born on Thanksgiving 11/27/08. A handful, she's smart, sweet, and funny. Oh! And can be such a brat! She loves to meet new people, chew, chase and run, play fetch, go for walks and help in the yard, play in the snow and herd mom by pulling on her pant legs- a habit we are trying to break!

quiet=mischief

A Bit short, maybe one of those "you had to be there" moments....
While I was getting ready for the day, I noticed how quiet Bonnie was being. Foolishly I thought oh how nice, she's being such a good girl this morning! I still didn't think anything was out of the ordinary when I hear scratching in the cat box (near the basement stairs in the kitchen)... Until I decide to go get some coffee from the kitchen... There was Bonnie literally IN the cat box! All I could do was ask why- why?! Of course… Continue

Paper trouble

So, we got Bonnie on 02-01-09 with the promise of pedigree papers to come by mail... We've called several times, most times having to leave a message, the second and last time I actually spoke to the breeder was over two weeks ago when she said she had them and would send them "when she got around to it"! She was very rude and acted so annoyed that I had called it just put me off! I don't want to cause problems but it's getting very frustrating that we still have yet to receive the papers and sh… Continue

Hi Stephanie, I saw your video of Bonnie and her big blue ball. Our previous corgi loved his, our new ones not at all. I thought they would like it, but no. So I thought our Otto was an oddball until I saw your Bonnie. Must be fun to watch her. It used to tire Otto out. We usually had to hide his ball, because he wouldn't stop. She is very cute. We have a red-head tri, as well as a red. Anyway just stopped by to say hi.

Hi Stephanie, If it doesn't rain this Saturday I was thinking it would be fun to walk the Lansing area corgis on the trails behind my house. Around 10:30 if anyone is interested. Let me know if you think it is possible for you. Bev, Sparty, and Izzy

We will watch the weather for a trail walk! That would be fun but right now the deer flies are pretty bad and they just love the black dogs!

Ok, wednesday sounds good if it doesn't rain. Sparty and Misty are fine. Apparently they managed to eat something that upset their stomachs but all clear yesterday! 6:30 sound alright? I will send my address via message.

Wow.. Stephaine.. one of my horses was born in Homestead!! It is a small world. Yes, we live in Deland.. a charming town - I think - old fashioned charm. I work as an orthopedic nurse coordinator in Daytona Beach. thanks for the comments. They are wonderful and loving dogs. Gizmo is my baby, so loving and sweet.. Although he turned 3 in March.. he is still my "baby boy". LOL. have a great weekend!!
