Hi folks.

I am a member of pwccsc.org, a southern CA corgi club which also operates a corgi rescue.
I have been notified that there is a 12-week old male pem pup currently in fosterage that will need a permanent home.
If interested, please visit pwccsc.org and fill out the adoption application. The pups name is Toby.
You can also email me directly at corgithunder@aim.com for a few pics of the little scamp.

Toby isn't the only furr-kid in need of a home. We currently have 2 other 3 yr olds in foster care and possibly 5 others that may be in fosterage very soon. So far it's been a record year for rescue activity, and we aren't even halfway through 2008. We have owners surrendering their animals from having to move into non-pet-friendly apartments to just being overwhelmed with the amount of care and training corgis require. Ages tend to run between 2 to 4 years old. Could one of these fit into your corgi-pack?

I was turned down the first time also for lack of corgi experience. But 5 came in all at once from the same illegal puppy mill and they had to losen up a bit on their standards. That's how Genoa came to live with me. Be persistent, join the club, come to events. It will happen. There is a corgi event next month at Featherly Park in Anaheim. Lots of little monkeys will be there.

wow thats amazing. we actually spent months on corgi rescue sites trying to find a pem...then we got scout from a breeder. I think we were penalized because of mark's and my age as well as being first time corgi owners...\hopefully we will be able to rescue a pem next time.

I would like to take care of him. I live in Carlsbad. I filled out the application last night. Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks Patric for posting this, I think there's someone here looking for a pup in your area, I'll direct them to you.

My husband and I would take him, if there was a way to get him to PA. We have been interested in getting another one. I'd be happy to email you more information.

I would take him if you can get him to Florida. Im not sure how well that would go over on the adoption process?

Aww..we're at our three-dog limit, or we'd LOVE to take him! I'll check around with some folks I know.

Hope this guy gets a stellar home :)
It's too bad I still got another couple of months before I'll be ready to bring a Corgi home,
Do young Corgi pups come into rescue very often at PWCCSC?
