I just went to Petsmart with Chloe and we had a fun time! I saw another corgi but the owner told me that he is not nice, so we walked away from them. Next year, Chloe will be home alone all day so we got her kong stuffn peanut butter and Old Mother Hubbard treats (from Cindi's recc. on a post. Thanks! She loved them). We will put peanut butter then crushed treats and peanut butter and some more treats. We will do that till it fills. Then we freeze it overnight till it is nice and hard for Chloe to get out. I hope she likes it (I mean, why wouldnt she?!). We also bought Nature's Miracle (?). Cant wait to use it. We had a fun time!

Sounds like a wonderful treat! I know my lab mix Droopy loves it when I do that w/ his kong, its too cute he'll get a "brain freeze" type thing going on and come over and rub his head on your lap till it goes away its the funniest thing to watch! Hope Chloe enjoys!

We make "pupsicles" too... I mix a little bit of peanut butter with water then fill a kong with the mix and freeze overnight. You can also use canned dog food mixed with water too. Ginny loves them and it takes her a while to get through them.

Another yummy thing we put in harry's kong is peanut butter and banana. We fill it up in layers and then freeze it. He just loves it. We also mix his Canidae kibble with a little PB sometimes and that keeps him busy for an extra treat at dinner time.
There are a lot of good kong fillng recipes out there as well.... our little Harry will east almost anything! lol

Hope that Kong works well for you. If dogs don't like the rubber taste, I get me some chicken boullion and fake-baste the Kong. Dip it, set it on a paper towel til it dries. Be sure you have a good, stiff bottle brush to clean the Kong. Soak in warm, soapy water and use the bottle brush to clean.

Sorry the other corgi wasn't friendly. Mine aren't that friendly either. They'll give you a courtesy sniff and then they want nothing else to do with another dog. We're working on it, but they are quite persistent.

Chloe sometimes growls at other dogs.. But her brother came over the other day and they had so much fun. The male chased Chloe around the house in circles all day. Wherever Chloe went Buster went (the male) and vice versa. Chloe prefers humans rather than dogs though. I have tried socializing Chloe, but you cant force a dog to like other dogs if they dont. You know?

Nature's miracle is the best! Banjo was an angel at potty training, but sometimes we watch our neigbor's beagle Missy, 12 years old, obese and incontinent. The bottle we bought for Banjo went almost completley to Missy's messes!
