No I have never taken Duchess far from home. She would not enjoy a long ride.
She is people friendly but tends to get "snarky" with other dogs occasionally.
There is a dog show or picnic in Boxborough in June 2009. If I went to that I would not take Duchess.
I am considering taking her to Topsfield when there is a dog show there in the summer. I think it is allowed to take no entered dogs on the grounds.

Do you ever do meet-ups in western MA, the Berkshires area? That is a hop, skip and a jump for us Corgi-ites in western CT.

Ct, is not such a long drive that you may consider a meet up in the spring?
Welcome to New England, Tauna and Kota

Welcome Christine, As soon as I know when we are having our next meet up I will get it posted on the websites. We had been thinking of this Sunday the 22nd but the weather forecast doesn't look too good.
Your dogs are gorgious. June

I'm sorry I missed the meet up in Rye, that would have been fun!

Our outing Sunday was very nice. Good to get the dogs out for a run. We went to Jenness beach in Rye, NH
Eleven corgis, both pems and cardigans had a great time.
I am thinking about a regional group to meet at Breakheart Reservation in May. I have never been there, I want to check it out for access and safety.
If someone wants to do a "look over" with me some Sunday in April, that would be lovely. June

Hello -- My two Corgis and I are in Lakeside, CT (near Bantam Lake) and often go to the dog park in Southbury. I feel like there's a "secret" Corgi society, as whenever we're out, people run up to us and tell us, "I've got one at home, too!" -- but we never see the dogs?!? So if anyone is in our area, let us know. A herd of Corgis roaming the dog park would be a great sight to see.

Are you looking for a puppy? If not a puppy, sometimes a breeder has adult dogs to find homes for. And if they don't have one themselves they may be able to steer you to someone else.
Welcome to New England Corgis group. Maybe we can do a regional meeting in the summer for most of the eastern corgis. Someone suggested Breakheart Reservation in Saugus. How does a May playdate seem to you.June
