Also, I saw your post dated December 1, about a dog that needed rescue. My mother still lives down south and is always looking for a corgi or corgi mix. We are corgi fanatics.

We had such fun at the Lafayette Dog Park with you and Toby today. Mr. Spock and Toby look like sibs, except for the tail :) I'm glad to see that Toby is both and LSU and A Saints fan. He IS does wear the Saints colors in his fur after all. Merry Christmas to you both! We look forward to more good times (and the Krewe Des Chiens) in 2010.

You can't see very well in the pictures but his eyes are multi colored with the outside part being blue and the part closest to his nose being brown. That, along with the eyeliner gives him a perpetual look of wonderment that I just love.
Your tri Pem is a handsome, happy fellow, isn't he? Who's his red and white friend? Dudley has two friends in the neighborhood, a Basset Hound and a Parson's terrier.

I hope you can come to the Krewe Des Chiens parade in February. Mr. Spock was selected to be the King of the Krewe (a raffle) and we're going to have our first ever Krewe of Corgis marching!

Your Toby reminds me of my "grandpup" Ein ... he's a bluie. I do like Toby's markings and my Nick is also tricolor but with a mostly brown head. He has what look like "spectacles" running around his eyes and back to his ears. I don't see many Corgis around here and from comments I get from folks when we are out walking they don't usually see many either. They are very intelligent and challenging dogs sometimes... but mine is a sweetheart and I'm glad I was able to rescue him. I find that with adopting an older dog at least you have an idea of their personality from their caretakers. Good Luck with him and thanks for the invite!
