About Me:: I'm a wife and student living in Arizona who really really wants to be able to provide a wonderful loving home to a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy sometime in the future. I've been researching and studying this breed for several months now, and I've been coming to this site for hours every day to read the stories and blogs of the lucky corgi owners here, as well as learn about how to properly train and take care of a puppy so I can be a great mommy!

About My Corgi(s):: Right now, I have no corgis but I'm in love with the breed from everything I've seen and read. Unfortunately I haven't even as much as touched a corgi until recenly. I met some corgis at our group's first meetup! Sooooo cute! :D

I am hoping to find a red/white male Pembroke puppy once my husband and I decide it's the right time.

Well, tomorrow is the day we're going to visit the shelter (4.5 hours away) and meet the Corgi we really hope to take home. And boy, am I excited and nervous, so I hope I can sleep tonight. We bought most of the stuff we will need for the trip home with him (fingers crossed). Here's a list of stuff we're bringing:

Our Life is About to be Turned Upside-Down (In a good way)!

Well, I have been searching Petfinder.com for an adult male corgi for a while now, and last week I found one that sounded perfect. Well, we went to my parent's house for the weekend and we were going to visit the shelter while we were there since it was closer to their house than to ours. Once we got to my parent's house, I was so excited to show my mom the picture on Petfinder, so I opened up the internet, but I was very upset to find that he had just been adopted that day.

My first blog post and some of my corgi art.

Hi everyone! I joined a while ago, but I'm just now posting a blog. I really love corgis but unfortunately my husband and I aren't ready financially to have a dog. Anyway, enough of the sad stuff. Since I don't have pictures of a real corgi to contribute, I thought I'd share a picture I drew today. It's not colored yet, and still a little rough in some parts but I really tried hard so far. "kun" is the masculine of "chan" (like my Domo Kun avatar =-D).
But yeah, next saturday( 11/07) my wife and I drive to georgia to go see the woman who has the litter and we'll see which one picks us, so the name might change to Akamaru (if the puppy is male) lol.
