Up at Fred Meyer the other day I found Furminators on sale. It was only 5 dollars off, but I couldn't leave without one. I was amazed by it when I got home brushing both Leon and Simon. Expected it, but it still hella surprised me all the same. My mom has a ShedEnder, I've seen it at work as well as used it myself. I think that's what caused the shock. Leon has been doing great since his emergency surgery to get that damn evil needle out. Every day he heals up a little bit more and every day I worry a little bit less. The way he is, you would never know he had surgery unless he rolled over and showed you his tummy. Been running around like nothing happened. Leon had to go in for surgery early this morning. I'm at my wits end with everything that has been happening around me, but that's a completely different story. He somehow got ahold of and swallowed a sewing needle, with some thread attached. Another strike against carpet. When I get a house, it's damn well going to have wood or tile flooring.
