Thank you guys so much for the votes for Chloe! We can't wait to find out the results!

Thank you for adding that to the group page, I think I entirely looked over the "add a comment" section! Haha, now I know. I hope you and Scooter have fun at the beach, that sounds like fun! Sadly, Gordon and I won't be able to go because we feel he's just a bit too young (and hasn't finished his shots yet), but I wanted to let others know in case they have older Corgis that could go! Thanks again! :)

Thanks for the info on the tag! For some reason the link didn't show up, do you mind sending it again? And thanks for reminding us to add that info on his microchip too! Totally did not think of that...

We're doing well here, and yes, this waiting game is getting a bit old... but well, she'll be here whenever she decides it's time for her to make her grand entrance ;) Bryson has been exposed to many new family members this past week (my parents and sister's family including a 2-y.o. toddler)... it's been kinda crazy, we upped his pred dose for a day and he seems to be handling himself OK. We'll go day by day and see how he does and adjust accordingly.

Hope you guys are doing well!

Hi Caroline and Scooter- thanks for checking in! Sorry we keep missing each others on the various virtual places we lurk around... The best place to get a hold of us and check on Bryson is probably on our blog. I update it at least once/week or so, and you can send me e-mails from there as well.

We just went back for his first lytes after we started Percorten (13 days), his K is now borderline low and Na borderline hi, they said it's normal, but I'm gonna ask if they need to lower his dose before the next injection. He's down to pred 1.25mg daily, I think we can probably lower it further since he's still drinking a lot of water and peeing non-stop, otherwise he looks just like his old self :)

How's Scooter doing? Hope she's feeling better too. Oh and we paid about $65 for his lytes, ouch... but we do have VPI insurance, will see how much they'll cover.

Hope you guys enjoyed Father's Day! -Ivy + Bryson

Thanks! We're super excited about the upcoming addition to our family as well :) I'm just so glad that we've figured out what's wrong with Bryson and started treatment before the baby's here.

It must be so scary when Scooter went through that whole ordeal in the ICU... So glad that she's come through! She looks adorable and happy in the photos above (are they taken recently?) And funny you mentioned her coat getting long and fluffy... we've always noticed that Bryson's hair is a bit longer and kinda "cowlicky" compared with other corgis. We just thought that's how his hair is. But lately, the undercoat developed this grayish black tinge to it, and we've been wondering what caused it... Now it makes us wonder if this is related to the Addison's, and perhaps he's had it for a while and just progressed to a more serious state more recently? I read on ADog's forum that some dogs w/ AD also grew long, fluffy and grayish hair, hmm... Has Scooter's coat changed since she's been treated?

Hey Carolyn and Scooter! So good to see you here on mycorgi too! And thanks so much for the support on Addisondogs' forum for me and Bryson :) I didn't realize Scooter is your service dog, it must be so hard to watch your mighty little helper go through a debilitating disease herself... but glad to hear that she's doing better! Bryson's also doing much better after only 2 days of treatment. Can't tell you how relieved we are! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! -Ivy & Bryson

Hello!!!! I just now read the outing comment. AH!!! It is Father's Day weekend and we are going out of town for the weekend..... As it seems we may be the only ones in the mix...I am free the 28th????? Maybe we wont have thunder storms by then? Let me know what you think, I am all for Topaz... I have to get back to work. My nephew is graduating tonight so I am going to try to get out of here early today. Give Scooter & Juneau xoxoxox's from us. Mona

I am so glad that Scooter is feeling better! We are all doing well. Tucker is growing like a weed. We weighed him this morning and he is 27lbs! Ah! We have given up on trying to fix his ear. The mole skin looked like it was going to work but when we took it off within a day or two the ear flopped back down again. It was such a pain in the butt to take it off his ear that I didn't want to put him through that again so we are leaving him as is. :-)
I'm sure Juneau is quite a handful as big as she is. She is a beautiful dog. Scooter sounds like our Izzy, she just doesn't want to be messed with.
We are supposed to be about 82 degrees here today. I am really happy about that. Yes we will have to get together when you get back I would love it!! We can bring Izzy she wont pay no attention to any of the other dogs as long as she is around water nothing else exists! Let me know when you get back and we will make plans. I hope you had a great Mothers Day also. Talk to you soon!

Oh my gosh. You know how they say when you get your dog spade or neutered how they mello out? Oh heck no! Tucker has had so much energy and then some. The whole time he had his junk he never once tried to mount the other dogs. Well last night he was trying to mount Izzy! Is there something that I don't know? Is this typical and I haven't experienced it? As for the rest he supposed to be doing, um no. He runs all over like it never happened. Then I put him in his kennel because I don't want him to hurt himself but then I feel bad because he looks at me with those "puppy eye's". I'm sure by the next week we will be good to go.

Can you believe this weather!? Well that was a dumb statement/question. It's NV of course you can. Will you be around next weekend? Maybe the weather will be nice again and we can get together. So far my calendar is clear but that doesn't mean Brent wont all of a sudden pull something out of his hat so I will keep you posted and you do the same with me. Hopefully we can meet up again. Give Scooter hugs & kisses from me. How is she feeling? Is she doing any better?

About Me:
I raised, bred and showed Rottweilers for 40 years. After losing the best Rottie I even had I couldn't bring myself to "try" to replace her. So after 3 dog-less years I decided to change breeds. I started doing all my research and went with the PWC. It been good every since!

About My Corgi(s):
I have a little girl. Her name is Siskiyou's Easter Sunrise. Better known as SCOOTER! She is 6 years old and came from a breeder in Oregon. She is such a joy. Scooter is now my "Service Dog". and goes everywhere with me. 2 years ago I started losing the use of my hands. It turned out to be RA. I started training Scooter to help me with daily living. She wears a small pack with my ID, my ATM card and my money. She helps me opens doors, and she opens the lower cabinet doors door and the door on the refrigerator and freezer. She rides the bus with me. She flys between Nevada and Florida with me. She is allowed to fly at my feet and is so good no one on the plane knows she there until they see her getting off. She is such a joy!
