Hi! Thanks for the comment, Bunny looks like a sweetie. :D I have looked into rescue (I love saving and working with animals) the sad fact is that since we live in such a rural place everything we find is located quite a long way off, and we just don't have the money right now to start up a local rescue (though I would love to). Thank you for the tips though, maybe in the future we will have the means to have many furry little bundles of joy running around :) Well I can always hope!

Hi Cathi, The clinic develops a serum based on the things your dog is allergic to and we inject it once a month. It is not hard to inject because it just goes under the skin. Even Sparty, my BIG baby, tolerates it pretty well. It is the same as with people, they make a mixture of whatever your allergic to and use it to increase your tolerance to the allergens. They said it is successful about 80 percent of the time. Good luck!

Hi Cathi,
Thank you soooo much for the invitation to play. Tucker was attacked on our walk(Of course he was on his leash !!! ) last year by a large dog that was roaming in our neighborhood. I guess you know I worked for a Veterinarinan (In Novato) for well over 20 years and I retired 2 years ago. When the attack happened I took him straight to ACC and had one of my Doctor friends check him... TG he was fine. Tucker is now Dog Agressive. He will start to bark and be on alert as soon as he sees another dog. I tried to get him to play with his old pals but he didn't want too. I talked to the Dr.'s and they said this was perfectly normal behavior after an attack like that. Tuck likes 4 of my neighbor's dogs (2 king Charles & 2 terriers) but he won't play with them anymore, he is scared. I am so sorry this happened to him. Tuck would go to work with me and be the official mascot of the hospital and he loved all other dogs. I feel bad that he feels this way and I try my best to get him to play... but he won't. Oh, by the way, the dog that attacked him was given away to another family. Please keep in touch, I am sorry we can't come to visit and play. Hugs & lovie Barks Sher & Tucker

Thanks! Joshua is quite adorable - I haven't yet really captured his funny "crazy face" on camera because when I go to get it he stops whatever cute thing he's doing. Silly boy! One of these days I'll catch him, though. :D

I love to take pictures of the dogs. Trying to catch that special shot that is just amazing. My husband is so much better at it then me but w/how much he is clicking for shots I don't see how he could miss it. LOL Within 15 minutes I can have over a 100 shots to go through.

Good luck w/the groups and hope you benefit from them. You should learn alot and hopefully someone close to you is interested in doing the same thing as you. Its nice to be able to work w/another.

You will definitely learn alot here. Its a wonderful site and we all try to help one another. Golden Gate is the one w/ the story of the 70-95 lb. Corgi, isn't it?? Amazing story.

I was always a bully breed fan. Had 2 Akitas I adored. I think I've owned 20 different kind of dogs in my life. I was originally into Paint horses, breeding, training, showing and it kept me from the home too much and got too expensive w/the economy so I sold all of them but my dream mare. Eventually I had to let her go since I wasn't caring for her the way she deserved. It was the hardest thing to do but sometimes love is hard. She went to an awesome home though..didn't make it easier but atleast I knew they'd do right by her and she'd be getting used way more then I was doing w/her. That was only last fall so its still pretty fresh. Oops..kinda got off track there..sorry. Anyways...my trainer friend raised Corgis and they were always all over the show circuit and he was getting a divorce and asked me to take one of his favorite females for him. I wanted a smaller dog for my daughter so it was perfect. Well you can figure out how it got started from there..we fell in love w/each other and my addiction started. End of story. LOL

I know nothing about the herding and alittle about agility but I think rally would be great too.

Thank you for the compliment on my set up and what you have observed. I really appreciate it. I've been runny circles to keep it all up but thats what you have to do to do it right. I needed the compliment tonight. Feeling very down since the pups will be leaving shortly. They're 8 weeks old Tuesday and I'm very attached to them as they are me. I'll miss them and a couple of them are going out of state so the chance of me ever seeing them again is slim to none. Atleast the people are making the drive to come and get them and they don't need to be shipped. I'd worry about that this time of year and probably would hold onto them longer before shipping anyways. Soon enough though I will have another litter to deal with and I'll start all over again w/building that relationship.

That was the hardest thing for me to decide on about breeding was letting the pups go. Its hard and no matter how good of home you find sometimes its just hard. Atleast I can say that I have gotten some awesome homes for my pups which just thrills me. I love to meet people and talk Corgis and it lets me stay home more for the kids. I'd die of boredom if all I did was care for kids and the house. My dogs are my outlet and therapy.

It was very kind of you to leave such a wonderful comment in my guestbook. Again..Thank You.
