About Me:
I'm 20 years old and live in Nebraska with my mother, three cats (Lexi, Angel, and Poodie), and my Corgi Zero. I've only ever had one dog before and that was when I was very young. She was a Cocker Spaniel named Chewy. Unfortunately, due to my mum's long schedules, we had to find her a new home. Until now my mum was too afraid to bring another dog into our family because of long-houred days.
Thanks to my employers' flexibility, I was able to own my first ever pet. He's my full responsibility, unlike my cat Poodie. I love having my wee boy around. He brings so much joy into my life, I can't even express. Corgis are the most amazing dogs in every way possible. I don't think I could ever live without one now.
Eventually I want to get a Cardigan as well.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Contrary to popular belief, Zero was not named after the ghost dog in Nightmare Before Christmas. I named him after a character of mine who was named after my favorite Smashing Pumpkins song.
Zero is a tri-color Pembroke Welsh Corgi. As of June 11th, he is 5 months old. He's a mischievous little one, but as sweet as can be. If given the chance, he'd kiss and lick you to death. When he decides to entertain himself, he prefers someone being close to him. He's happy as long as he has someone to snuggle up next to while he's gnawing on a toy.
He takes after his mum who hates getting out of bed. He'll drag himself out of his kennel with his legs trailing behind him. Almost always he'll let out a strange noise like "ah-goooo", "burrrr", or "whirr-err-err" as if to say, "it's just too hard!" Everyone that hears him can't help but laugh which makes him grin excitedly. He's quite the drama king.
I have:

My guys love to chew on stuff and sometimes it is not the right thing. Keeping the house (their area at least) free of tempting items (throw pillows, rugs, most everything else mobile) out of reach is what I do. Keep working on training..take away...

I wanted to clarify one thing I said, which I realize is open to misinterpretation: When I said if you can't get him to leave it, to put him away, I meant that as a few-minute thing to break his concentration, not as a permanent fix. With my dog, ...

Some pups have the desire to chew far more than others. Part could be due to teething. Part could be due to boredom and very likely due to a lack of exercise. Corgis need to expend their physical and mental energies. Living life in a crate is not ...

I wanted to add that at this age, puppies have unlimited energy and, unfortunately, no longer need naps like they did when they were little. It can be a trying time, but remember your pup is not trying to be bold. He's just bored and full of life....

Sparty was a very active puppy that needed constant supervision. He was not as much of a chewer as your guy but I gave him lots of things to play with. I should say I am NO expert. Obedience classes helped me a lot as he was my first corgi and I l...

At 6 months most puppies cannot be trusted unattended for any length of time. When Jack was a few months old, he was very fond of chewing on the wooden baby gates we had up. We used Bitter Apple. It did not last long, and when it was dry it didn'...

I would start by offering him something appropriate to chew on when you catch him - we use bully sticks or his Kong so that he knows it's okay to chew, but he needs to chew HIS stuff. Also, does he have some squeaker toys or ones with the sound ch...

Welcome Kirsty and Zero! He's so cute!

You should go join the "Corgis with Weird Vocals" group! Somewhere there (page 4 I think) is a video clip of Sidney making his "Wookie song" noise.
