Maya is now 5 months and I have noticed that the hair by her nose has turn mostly red. She used to have more black and white hair. I really love the current markings she has now and hopes it doesn't change much as she ages.
Carrie was firm with us: no strenuous hikes until 1 year old. You want those bone growth plates fused.

"best hikes with Dogs in western washington", Nelson. Has some useful info.
Hey, where did you get Maya? Wonder if she'll be a blackfaced tri? The blackfaced allele is recessive to the ordinary tri pattern, wherein the black on the face mostly fades (Al has no black left on his face at all, Gwynnie only a little).
I am a first time owner of a corgi and I have a lot to learn!

About My Corgi(s):
I have a female corgi who is turning 5 months on the 13th of June. Her name is Maya and she is full of life. She has been through two sets of obedience classes. She is great with tricks and all that stuff but when the pressure is on and you need her to act her best, she fails... she failed our final examination for our obedience class!
