About My Corgi(s):
Molly is our little Pembroke Corgi. She is a sweet little girl who is part cat... or so she tries to convince us. She is always trying to get on our laps getting loves and giving sweet kisses. She loves kissing the tip of noses. But don't be fooled! She can hold her own and put any dog in its place if needed be. She is my sweet girl.

I also own Julius Caesar, the Great Corgi... or just Caesar for friends. He's a full of life, tri-color Corgi who loves to herd birds on the nearby park. He's a mama's boy and darn proud of it!

LIKES: The carpet, the couch, peanut butter, liver treats, to attempt to attack his mom's food, mommy's hair, belly rubs, butt scratches, training sessions and all its tasty treats, crate, ducks, birds, lake water, a quick swim, cold weather, mommy's socks, mommy's shoes, mommy's coats, ... They just love their mommy and that's just fine by me :)

DISLIKES: The word "NO!", the command "LEAVE IT!", mommy leaving, spray bottle, time to sleep, baths, shampoo, cologne, or anything that takes away from his natural smell.

Ok so I am not the kind of person who gets hung up on labels for the most part. But like every woman here and there I allow a quick splurge. My label items can be itemized in three (and two of those are not even REAL labels)

Corgi and Remote Controlled Car

I know... I haven't posted in a good while. But yesterday something pretty interesting happened with Caesar. We took all three dogs (two terriers and Caesar) to the dog park. There was a kid there with a remote control car. One of the terriers and Caesar went BALLISTIC over the toy. Maybe it was the herding instinct kicking in - I'm not sure. Corgi Sharing Food - I'm Amazed!!!

So we hear a lot about Corgis begging, stealing food, barking for food, but how about a Corgi SHARING his food?? Mine does! I was watching television and here comes Caesar, pig ear on his mouth... he puts two front paws on the couch, leaves his pig ear on my belly, pushes with his nose and looks at me. I was amazed! So Caesar was impossible last night... but I take responsibility. He was so cute and we wrestled around, played tracking, played fetch, wrestled some more so he was W-I-R-E-D! By the time I was tired he was still on "go go go" mode. Then he started trying to have the couch as dinner. If You Have Some Time on Your Hands!

This game was recommended to me by Caesar's trainer and he loves it.



Let your puppy know that you are playing that specific game. I tell Caesar "Let's Track!" and immediately go in the kitchen. I pick up his treats and repeat "Let's Track!" Then I procede to put Caesar on a "sit" and "wait" (you probably would use "stay" but I screwed up and taught him with the wrong command. Hello!
Well.....how did Ceasar do? LaVerne was totally out of it till about midnight. Then she woke up and decided she was starving. She was pretty whiny the rest of the night but she seems almost her old self today! She hates her donut collar I have on her but she wouldnt leave her incision alone!
I read on your blog about the Zap ball! Im going to go get one for LaVerne tomorrow. I think I will wait a day or 2 before I let her get wild tho. Let her heal some more.
I got a ball for her a while ago. Its a bumble ball and its a riot. If you arent familiar with it go check out LaVernes video of her playing with one. I bet Ceasar would LOVE it! Its WILD!!!
