"I did w my cats and it made a huge difference in my senior cat.  Her fur became shiny and didn't fall out and she was zooming around the house. She also quit begging for food all the time.  Her teeth also stayed clean and she…"

"We feed raw, with great support and encouragment from our vet. Vets are often educated in schools which recieve funding from pet food companies (ex: Hills) and therefore do not recieve an education outside of what these companies want to provide.…"

"LOL, I completely agree. If you look at the main ingredients in food sold by vets you will almost always find corn within the top three (most of the time it's the first). Corn is a carb that turns into sugar once in the body, and we…"

"I feed both of my dogs a raw diet, as close to a "prey model" as possible. They rarely get any fruits or veggies, and NEVER get any grains! only animal muscle meat, bones, and organs, and they are both doing AMAZING on it!! Daxter (my…"

"How does it make wild dogs sick though? Or wolves? Isnt that what they eat in the wild? ..Not that i feed raw,but i guess there are risks with both. I mean even kibble isnt foul proof, they are recalling food all the time. I work at a vet, and…"

"I fed my last dog Natures Variety Raw, he had pancreatic insufficiency disease so he had a hard time digesting his food. He did do better on raw. Do be careful with bones. My last dog also died after eating a rabbit in the backyard. Everyone assured…"

"Thank you for your postive response about RAW diet. Its so encouraging knowing that there are others out there feeding RAW. I looked into Nature's Variety, but with my two big eaters it was alittle out of my price range. I ended up finding a…"

About Me:
I am a full time student preparing for vet school. I do not own a corgi, but am thinking about adding one to my small family. I do how ever have a dog, her name is Gracie. Gracie is a four year old terrier/lab mix that I have had since she was 8 weeks old. Even though Gracie is four she still acts like a puppy. She enjoys playing Frisbee, going on long walks, playing at the beach, learning new tricks, and playing with other dogs. I have been researching breeds for the past year trying to decide on a friend for Gracie and I. I think I have narrowed it down to one of two breeds, either a Corgi (both Pembroke and Cardigan, appeal to me) or a Dalmatian. I'm hoping to learn more by reading blogs and talking to corgi owners, so that is why I have signed up to mycorgi.com
